St. Noa Kitangira Primary School is a fully registered school under the Ministry of Education and Sports, Uganda, located in Kitagali Village, Nsambya – Kalisizo, Kyotera District.
We provide quality, holistic, and value-based education from Nursery to Primary Seven in a safe and supportive environment. Our focus is on academic excellence, discipline, and moral development to prepare learners for a bright and successful future.

Foundation For a Bright Future
St. Noa Kitangira Primary School is a fully registered primary school under the Ministry of Education and Sports, Uganda, located in Kitagali Village, Nsambya – Kalisizo, Kyotera District. The school was established with a clear purpose: to bring quality and accessible education closer to children within the community.
The idea of starting the school was born out of the challenges faced by families in the area, where many children had to walk long distances to access the nearest school. This situation led to absenteeism and school dropouts. Concerned community members, led by Rev. Fr. Gerry Kaggwa and his family, initiated the vision of building a school that would serve the spiritual, moral, and educational needs of the children of Kitangira and surrounding villages.
Our History
From humble beginnings—where some classes were conducted under trees within the church compound—the school has grown into a structured learning institution with permanent classrooms, sanitation facilities, a kitchen, playground space, and teachers’ quarters. It stands today as a testimony of community commitment, faith, and the power of education to transform lives.
St. Noa Kitangira Primary School provides holistic and value-based education from Nursery to Primary Seven. Our academic program emphasizes strong literacy and numeracy foundations, continuous assessment, and proper preparation for the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE). Beyond academics, we promote co-curricular activities that nurture talents, leadership skills, teamwork, and creativity.
Rooted in Christian values, the school promotes discipline, integrity, respect, responsibility, and inclusiveness. While founded on Catholic principles, we warmly welcome learners from all religious and cultural backgrounds, fostering unity and mutual respect among pupils.
Under the guidance of a committed Board of Directors and dedicated teaching staff, St. Noa Kitangira Primary School continues to grow as a center of excellence, shaping responsible, knowledgeable, and confident young learners prepared for the next stage of their education and for life beyond the classroom.
